Strange, I heard from BIAX sources that they do not have enough aircraft and therefore are delaying the BRU operation..strange to see them launch such a long sector

@flightsimcrew,

I post the reason why on an other topic about Jet Airways.

They don't have lack of aircraft, they leased them out to other airlines because the first flight to BRU is posponed till spring 2006. Reason, difficulties about their name Jet Airways in the USA. Remember the troubles with an other airline with the same name in the USA?

So they don't have the paperwork to fly to BRU and EWR.

Obviosly there is nothing new here...but I just wanted to post this, at least it was on USA Today. This whole thing is pretty silly. I can't believe how that dumb company just is wasting everyone's time and money in the situation.

Jet Airways battle: Trademark issue or terror threat?
An unusual and potentially nasty fight is brewing over an Indian carrier's plans to add flights between India and the USA. India's Jet Airways, which was founded 12 years ago after the country's industry was privatized, has plans to begin service this month between Mumbai and Newark. But another Jet Airways — a Maryland-based company that doesn't appear to own any planes — made a filing with the U.S. Department of Transportation alleging that its Indian counterpart had links to al-Qaeda and that allowing it to fly to the USA would be a national security threat. India's Jet Airways, however, says it's outraged by the claims and tells the BBC it suspects naming and copyright issues are the real motivation of the U.S.-based Jet Airways. Reuters also looked into the story, but writes that its effort to contact the USA's Jet Airways "were not immediately successful," adding that "a woman answering the phone said no one was in the office and invited a reporter to leave a voice mail."

Hope Jet Airways (the real one, I mean the Indian company :D ) takes these idiots to court for damaging their image making false claims.
