Air UK only operated STN-BRU-STN, started back in mid eighties with a Short330.

One of the bussiest routes in Europe is CDG/ORY to NCE, over 3 mio annual passengers...

Some cargo observations...

Cargovluchten van Brussel (BRU) naar CASABLANCA (CMN)
Vluchtnummer Dagen Vertr. Aank. Type Geldigheid
AT353 ------7 06:20 07:40 75F 2703-2910
AT353 1234--- 08:20 09:45 73X 2703-2910
AT353 ----5-- 11:05 12:30 73X 2703-2910
Cargovluchten van CASABLANCA (CMN) naar Brussel (BRU)
Vluchtnummer Dagen Vertr. Aank. Type Geldigheid
AT352 1234--- 02:05 07:15 73X 2703-2910
AT352 ----5-- 04:40 10:00 73X 2703-2910
AT352 ------7 08:40 14:00 75F 2703-2910

I believe not having seen any pictures of this AT B757F so far.
The spotters database doesn't seem to mention it either.
Actually this 757 seems to be BRU based, so I suppose it's operated by DHL.

Cargovluchten van CHICAGO (ORD) naar Brussel (BRU)
Vluchtnummer Dagen Vertr. Aank. Type Geldigheid
SQ7895 ------7 04:55 19:55 74Y 0304-2310
SQ7975 --3---- 17:25 08:00 74Y 1008-2610
SQ7977 ------7 18:45 09:45 74Y 1604-2810

What could be the logic for SQC in operating 2 out of the 3 weekly ORD-BRU flights both on day 7?

Cargovluchten van Brussel (BRU) naar KUWAIT INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (KWI)
Vluchtnummer Dagen Vertr. Aank. Type Geldigheid
SQ7991 ----5-- 21:10 03:55 74Y 0104-2810
KU7991 ----5-- 21:10 03:55 74Y 1908-2810
SQ7997 1------ 22:00 04:45 74Y 1608-2910
KU7997 1------ 22:00 04:45 74Y 1908-2910

Apparently SQC's flights to Kuwait are code-shared with Kuwait Airlines.

Cargovluchten van DELHI (DEL) naar Brussel (BRU)
Vluchtnummer Dagen Vertr. Aank. Type Geldigheid
BR671 ---4-6- 07:00 15:30 M1F 2104-2910
SQ7360 -2----- 07:30 12:40 74Y 0105-2910
KE513 -2----- 11:50 13:20 74F 3008-2510

Interesting to see 3 different cargo operators between DEL and BRU.

Cargovluchten van Brussel (BRU) naar HONGKONG (HKG)
Vluchtnummer Dagen Vertr. Aank. Type Geldigheid
CX002 12-4567 16:10 13:15 74F 2703-2910
Cargovluchten van HONGKONG (HKG) naar Brussel (BRU)
Vluchtnummer Dagen Vertr. Aank. Type Geldigheid
CX001 12-4567 01:25 14:40 74F 2703-2910

Any particular reason why Air Hong Kong / Cathay Pacific never managed to make this HKG-BRU a daily connection, rather than six times a week? Is it simply due to lack of demand or rather due to a lack of aircraft?

Cargovluchten van NAïROBI (NBO) naar Brussel (BRU)
Vluchtnummer Dagen Vertr. Aank. Type Geldigheid
ET3716 1------ 17:30 03:00 75F 3004-2810
ET3716 -----6- 19:00 04:30 75F 3004-2810
ET3716 ---4--- 20:10 05:40 75F 3004-2810

Those ET 75F's really seem to have a very elaborate routing.
NBO-ADD-CAI-BEY-BRU ?

Thanks

SQ7895 arrives at BRU on Sunday but SQ7977 will arrive at BRU on Monday. Thus no overlap here.

The AT-flight's are indeed operated by a 757 or sometimes a A300 of DHL.

They came with B737-200C till the beginning of August 2005, since than all 732 were canx, and replaced by a three weekly rotation (sun, wed, fri) with DHL757.

According to their booking engine, it seems that Maersk Air will stop flying the Copenhagen - Brussels route as from the start of the winter season. It is not possible to book a flight after October 28.
DM is offering 11 flights a week on this route with B737 airplanes.

As they will stop flying to BRU, this is bad news for Brussels.
But it is good news for SAS and SNBA as this means less competition on this route.

CHG is not really in the BRU timetable as there are no scheduled flights, because this is a charter destination.

Maersk Air will not leave BRU, as their flights are available in for bookings.
It seems like their flights were not yet loaded in the system 9 days ago.

CHG in the timetable

Post by BrightCedars »

Actually CHG appears by coincidence. This code is used when a routing is changed or cancelled and it seems there is now an airport associated with it hence the confusion. No flights to a remote China airport thus far! Nor to a less remote one for that matter...

new destinations in their winter schedule :

CAI - Cairo on Thursdays

SOF - Sofia on Saturdays
