Indigo's orders do not appear on the Airbus website.

There are many in the Airline Industry who agree with you totally.

The proposal seems to many as being decidedly lacking in a grounded well thought out business plan.

I just heard today that IndiGo is working with Airbus to finalize the
interior design. So, at least these two (Airbus and IndiGo) have no
problem with the current situation.

Does anybody know how the delivery schedule does (would) look like ?

Though your update gives me joy, but since i do not want my happiness to be shortlived, the source better be a good one from whom you heard.

Does any airline decide with the manufacturer about the interiors without even launching or is there any ground to that.

Hope im wrong  or should i say that skepticism is the word in their go-ahead plans and strategy.

But they have appointed several key people and yes have even started to ask ppl looking forward to join them in the airline in the following categories

Some info which the company INTERGLOBE gave during announcing INDIGO AIR can be read here

The source I have this is Airbus. I have got a call when they had
a meeting with an operator who has ordered 100 A320's. If I
remember correctly IndiGo is currently the only one with 100
Airbusses on order (or at least the intention to do so).

However, I wish them to get through all these problems and
complaints and finally operate the A320's with great benefit ! :D

This may or may not be Indigo's website, but if it is, its a very poor start for an airline thats supposedly ordered 6 billion dollars worth of aircraft.

The airline was to commence operations in 2006, but they have hired no pilots, ground crew, flight attendants, and have yet to obtain an operating certificate from the Government of India.

And even more curious is the fact that no orders appear on the Airbus order sheet for this airline, this would indicate that there is no firm order, more likley it was only a letter of intent, which in most cases is full of whereas and theretofors.

Certainly not indicitive of an Airline ready to start operations in 90 days.

I don't know if they have now a website.

Look at this http://www.interglobe.com/ig-aviation.aspx

It's the mother company.
