Handling crosswinds fs 2002

Post by moons »

Hello,

I was just watching some pic's at at virtual.planepictures.net. I saw some crosswind landings and I was thinking how I could handle these crosswinds with my fs. If you don't have pedals, but only a joystick, is it possible to handle it without playing the throttles of your right or left engine?

Hi,

you can get pedal steering by turning the joystick (or use 0 and <enter> on the numeric keypad). For this to work, you must disable the option that coordinates rudder movement when you bank the aircraft (don't know the exact name of the option but it is in the section "realism").

Have fun!
Wim.

Thanks for the replies. It's nice to move the plane like that.
Now I have to practice on it.
