Public messages

I wonder if it would be better to remove public messages from Luchtzak. It would prevent us from undesirable commercial links like this one:

Public Message from mulder: "Planning a trip to South Africa?Want information about tours,transport and accommodation in Cape Town have a look at my web page at www.wwguides.net/pmulder"

What do you think?

As long as they are not offensive and according to the forum-rules it's okay for me.

It's occasionally and when somebody makes a 'general announcement' it's published for the next 5 minutes.
