the new terrorist !!!! Grounding starts at an early age

Post by Alistairbastian »

this is hilarious :jump2: :jump2:

Hmmm infants are the new terrorist on the block ..... u think i'm kidding check out the links .....funny eh

 Infants have been stopped from boarding planes at airports throughout the U.S. because their names are the same as or similar to those of possible terrorists on the government’s “no-fly list.”

It sounds like a joke, but it’s not funny to parents who miss flights while scrambling to have babies’ passports and other documents faxed

It was only a joke, besides, I did not read the articles.

I'm curious whether this whole nonsense has prevented even a single actual terrorist from flying (probably not).

I guess this is what the Americans are more scared of then nerve or toxic gas.

But if we just stop being cynnical of the Americans, let us think what is their reasoning not to allow these babies on board.

Are they general babies of immigrants or American babies from American parents.

Are they stopping babies of a particular caste/creed/sex or religion or is it just a gender bias.

Do they have concrete evidence that these babies, if allowed to travel will endanger both the airplane and several lives.

Can people not have similar names, unless yes of course their identities are the same. Is there no difference in a potential terrorist and the name of a baby.

If i keep my name as BOND, James BOND, would that or does that qualify and make me a super hero and i can use all the gizmos and gadgets of MI6 ?????

 And i were to name myself BUSH SR, does my son get to be the PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES........

& i read somewhere in a book which said.....WHAT IS IN A NAME
Aum Sweet Aum.

Quite the contrary - sauch stupid lists and the surveillance of children and so on really takes up resources which are needed badly somewhere else.

It is the same all over again and it means that in some years when vigilance has ceased and only the inefficient rules remain, terrorists will have again easy access to the system.

The whole stuff is not about aviation safety - no one cares about lives of customers or citizens. Sad, but true...

Regards, Bernhard

After my internship with American, I can honestly say that an attack similar in style to the September 11th attacks are very unlikely (at least in the U.S.). I have had the privilege to work with many flight crews, and judging by their training and the number of FFDO's, I honestly can't see it happening again. The real threat now (in my opinion) comes from attacks similar to those in London and Madrid where REAL security is permeable and often non existent.

I think TONY has shared a very important point with us.
