Rago, I'm looking for a number with 3 digits "(XXX)".

Chris, "310" is the tail cone section area, try again  !

No, because "0" is like a blank. The first digit is the most important. Eg: 400 stands for the power plants (+ pylons). Then, the second digit is more specific. Eg: 410 stands for Eng. 1, 420 stands for Eng. 2, Etc...

I'll have to search then ;)

I know about what you are talking about. There are booklets with all those maintenance codes but I don't remember the name of those booklets. I used to work with the ones from B727 and B757 when I worked for EAT.

I just looked up the ATA codes but apparently it's not those which you want since they are only 2 digit codes....

That's right, I'm not looking for the ATA 100 codes.

Sorry Jense, it isn't. Perhaps my question was a bit too hard. I'll give more clue tomorrow, then.

Well, since I'm looking for the whole upper deck area, and not a part of it, it means the last digit is a "0".

Good luck!

Can you give us the name of those zones ? What kind of codes are they called ?

I've searched everywhere but couldn't find anything. :(

Major areas are:

-Left wing
-Right wing
-Tail zone
-Lower lobe fuselage
-Upper lobe fuselage
-Power plants (4xx)

It will be easier now  !

130 is in the middle of the lower half fuselage (reservoir 5 + MLG bays emplacement).
I understand my question was too hard so if nobody find it, I'll ask an other one on sunday evening (TU).

I forgot an other major area:

-Left wing (xxx)
-Right wing (xxx)
-Tail zone (3xx)
-Power plants (4xx)
-Lower half fuselage (xxx)
-Upper half fuselage (xxx)
-The landing gears (xxx)

Of course, they aren't in the right order  . With all the elements I'd give you, you should understand how it works now...

Nope. If 610 exist, it is somewhere on the right wing (6xx).

I repeat, you have everything (almost) you need to give the answer. See the original question also. I gave a lot of hints since...

I'll explain everything a soon as someone give me the correct answer.

The 747 is divided by zonal areas. Eg: "110" for fwd electronic sout section, "210" for nose main deck section.

Q: what's the code ("XXX") for the upper deck area?
Hi av8or_guy,

I gave 210 already as "nose main deck section" or first section of main deck if you prefer, so it can't be the upper deck also.

120 is the next section after the "fwd electronic sout", better know as fwd cargo compartment. In fact, 120 is between 110 and 130 areas...
