SNBA's Asterix Planes

Post by Comet »

Which types will they be? I won't get on one in September but I wouldn't mind on in November if they are ARJ or 319.

Nice to hear that SNBA will have to special livery jets :)

Let's hope that the paintings will be as large as possible ;)

As for the paintings I suppose it'll be cheaper for them to apply the paintings on two ARJ's which were planned to be painted this summer.

If I am not lucky enough to travel on a logojet, then I hope I see them. Will someone post a photo of the jets when they're ready?

By the way....remember the cartoonfigures on the SABENA aircrafts in the past. Such as Nero, Marsupilami, Lucky Luke etc........
Does anyone have any pictures of these aircrafts ? The one I loved the most was the huge Lucky Luke on our 747
I would appreciate it if anyone can tell me how to get these . Maybe somewhere on the net ?

Thanks

I second this thought. I think TINTIN is BELGIAN and so is SNBA, so what say

I read on another website that the Asterix-logo's are for promotion of the new Asterix-movie called Astérix and the Olympic Game. Launch of the movie will be in Brussels, hence the advertising (logo) on SN-planes.

Tintin would be gross on an aircraft, there are Tintin shops in Brussels and Brugge, and I think they are crass. It would be embarrassing to board an aircraft covered in Tintin. Maybe a few beer glasses to illustrate all the illustrious brands of Belgian beer would be better (and 15 and 17 days to go!!)

I was quite amazed that they didn't do something with the 175 years of Belgium, like Thomas Cook did

well it's a step to some more colors on the SNBA planes, but they could have at least placed a belgian comic figure on it (but than again if the french pay well...)
