the above statment doesnt stand true in india as there are basically no secondary airports here !!! and the lcc like kingfisher offer a meal and nice welcome kit !!!

the defination of an lcc according varies geographically !!! thats what i feel !! The competition that indian lcc have is with the rail network ...may sound funny but the indian railways covers the entire length of the country and for the indian it is still the primary mode of transport !!! and the indian railways is one of the largest employers' in the world 8O

we can add spicejet to the list of asian lcc !!!!
