I don't know if you have seen this but I personnaly think it's quite ugly, if LH wants to promote the World Cup 2006 in Germany they should add something better like JAL or Korean did, at least those were nice.
What do you guys think about it?

i think it's very funny!
And for korea world cup, or lord of the rings planes, they were just one or two planes, but LH wants to do it for a lot of plane, and i think it's very funny!

Well, to be honest. i would prefer it if they only paint one or two planes in a very coloursful scheme rather then 30 planes with a football painted on the nose....

It's original I agree, but it isn't very spectacular from a spotters point of view

Anyway, I have the feeling that we will see a lot of nose closeups of LH planes in the future

What should they do?

Emirate is the official Carries AFAIK, so LH is not allowed to use any official logos. Still they could provide a special scheme, but without too much reference to the Worldcup.

It doesn't look great to me, I think that it is very ugly to be honest.

LH should have come up with something better, like painting whole footballs on the fuselage, and not a half football on the nose.

I would say it's "different"...
Ans also "cheap" to be done (and to reverse).

Nevertheless, DLH achieved that we are talking about it....
