When I say this city is in the UK, don't just restrict your guesses to England...

You are correct Chunk - photo of St Enoch's Square Glasgow, taken in August 1993 in some spare time when we looked round Glasgow before flying off to Iceland in the evening.

Is it Bengazi (I've a feeling I've spelt that wrong!)
(BTW, I'm not sure how you'd manage to eat your own head!)

Seeing as it is difficult I will provide a clue......and will provide more if this aint enough! They do speak the same language in this place as in Benghazi!

Tripoli?
Damascus?
Aleppo?
Some wild thoughts, sorry for posting so much guesses in one reply...
BTW: The clue is not very helpful: if they speak Arabian in Libya (and I think they do) there are soooooo many possibilities...

All good guesses but it is a bit off the beaten track.
Next clue - it is an ancient city that is mentioned in the bible a few times. So I they told us when we were there anyway.....
Damascus is geographically close!
I've got a feeling I may have made this too tough!
