Here is a critical article about the airlines that have made such huge orders. The article is written in the context of the Qatar order, and both A and B will be hurt if his prediction is true (so no A vs. B war intended here).Buzz wrote:Still, it is really obvious Boeing got the 'good' orders, while a lot of Airbus orders are from startups & airlines that haven't even started yet...
Who knows what else is to come...
A little military order has also been placed:
Chile is expected to place an order this year for two or three A400M military airlifters, becoming the second export customer for the European planes after South Africa, an industry source said on Thursday.

Well in the B-787 orders i readregi wrote:Okay, now we are listening. If Airbus sells a lot of planes to start up companies or some strange arab company, it is not a real order.
So every sell that Boeing makes to Emirates or Oman will also not be calculated. Okay, I understand.
Primaris Airlines
Ethiopian
Blue Panorama
And a lot of china
And in the A350 Orders? TAM isn' it a real order?

Actually, I wasn't talking about Qatar. They are an achieved airline, and will probably trive with the A350.
What I intended were the Indigo (100 A320) and the Kingfisher (A380 for an airline with a couple A320?). Off course they can very well succeed, but there are more risks involved than selling ILFC a couple of 737 & 777...
And about Primaris: they served their purpose: launch the 787. Expect the orders to be cancelled in the future...
