The A340-600 is now painting in the new color scheme, too. :D
Should be displayed in Le Bourget as well.

Tha A318 has been painted too. Some air to air pictures are expected... :D

Seb.

EDIT: The A340-600 can be seen here and there.

I added some more picture here:

If you have a close look, you will notice they are only RR engines (Trent 900, Trent 500, IAE V2500)

Q: Is it possible to rename the topic "New Airbus colours"?

@mrairbus and @b744skipper:
I must say that I find the painting appeared on B787 fist was looking just amazing. However after some time I have seen pictures of some KAL and AirBerlin 737NGs paited that scheme and I must say that in this case the painting is giving indeed a more modern impression than the original (fuselage) design would give -> old wine in new bottles. same for the 747ADV photos.

Overall I find the new Airbus is so way German: just no thrills. And for the beluga, Airbus could have taken the opportunity to make something real eyecatching. Imagine some painting that looks really cool and is paying with the shape. for example how about painting a beluga like a whale? - I think such a painting would make onto a lot of coverpages, articles and on. But as now, just boring and missing another chance to show that they are trying to be the leading edge (supposingsly they donot want to)

I totally agree with you on that one, you just put it right. I also would have hoped (and expected) that Airbus would come with something better, especially when the eyes of the world where aimed at them, when they introduced the A380. I think the livery they now have looks ok, but as you said, no thrills. :(

Maybe the more we are complaining about Airbus' new in-house livery
the more they think about to re-design it. It's a lot of white on it, especially
for the Beluga and the A380. Perhaps someone is able to propose a new
design to them ?

My mistake, the A318 is PW6000 powered, not IAE V2500!

A poster of A380 maiden flight is available on Aibus website.

Beluga F-GSTB is come back to Orly airport in July... for a small re-painting  !

Spot the difference!

Yep, Airbus name is misplaced on the startboard side of the Beluga! This "minor detail" excepted, the customer (ATI) seems to be satisfied of the paint work.

Next Beluga F-GSTA is expected to arrive at ORY 10th of September, with departure flight (in new Airbus colours) on 26th.
