A Privatized Olympic Airlines is the future!

I as a Greek have always supported and flown with this airline for many years now. I have always wondered why this airline with such a history is not able to become profitable and to become like other European air carriers! As the years passed now I have begun to understand why!! The problem is that it is government owned and employees do not really care about the airline especially the unions who go on strike when ever they feel like! This airline needs to be privatized for the well being of the Greek air industry and for the well being of Greece! Greece is a tourist attraction nation which deserves a strong airline to attract new visitors to Greece! We see more and more airlines in Europe becoming privately run! This is the solution for Olympic because by privatizing this airline, it will still continue to fly and most of all the name with the circles will remain unlike other airlines that have just vanished!

Agreed but will it happen? Who knows, We have the same problem with Az (Alitalia) In Italy .. as a pvt company no doubt they would be successfull as a govt run airline they will continue not to worry and pump it with cash when times require it.
