I can see it from my balcony, I have a clear view on the EBOS approach of runway 26. I still have an old type digital camera, only 1,3Mega Pixel and the worst zoom you can think of. So have to wait for the other spotter, who are much better equipped then me, for sharing their pics.

YES !!!

After 4 years we are actually going to have the A300-600F !
I first heard this 'rumour' 4 years ago about MSR converting some A300-600's into A300-600F's for flight to and from EBOS. At that time i didn't believe it as much was said and rumoured. But now it is actually comming, I am very very happy !

It says there will be practise flypasts along the coast of Ostend (if the weather is good) on June 23,24,30 and July 01,07 and 08 from 14hlt-16hlt.

The rehearsal is for the defile held on July 8, with all the different aircraft and helicopters of the Belgian Defence. (info: http://www.mil.be/defdays)

So if you go on holiday to the beach, bring your camera with

Hope this is to interesting to someone.

The lady has just arrived

About 10-15 minutes ago, I also noticed an Alouette III in formation with an Alouette II, followed by Agusta and a sea king.

Yeetz

Yes! At last the new bird arrived. With a little delay she landed @EBOS for the first time with a nice salute from the firecrew 8) .
Sadly it was to far away from me to take a nice pic of the action.
On board was the "big boss" of Egypt Air (saw him in the terminal).

Hope to see "Cheops" back at OST very soon.

Some of my pic
Enjoy!!!

I've a question, does somebody know if there were technical problems with SU-GAS @ EBOS, because she departed after a turnaround time of almost 7 hours. This is very long (I think). Normally she will depart much earlier.
After take off, she smoked like an old (but very good) DC-8. This was not caused by brakedust, because she was smoking as long as I could see her and the gear was already retracted.

She smoked idd during take off but I dont think there was a problem.
Saw her on the apron this afternoon but there wasn't any maintenance work going on.

Maybe the boss had to make al late deal or a meeting ran out?

Don't know what caused the delay. She started the day with also 2h of delay in Cairo.
