Jan Van der Cruysse wins Flemish Book Award with his first thriller "Bling Bling"
Big surprise yesterday at the first day of the Boekenbeurs Antwerpen, Flanders' annual Book Fair (+150.000 visitors). The Hercule Poirot Award 2016 for the best thriller goes to Jan Van der Cruysse (56) for his first book ever: Bling Bling, a thriller (crime novel) about a diamond robbery at Delhi Airport. Some of the previous winners of the Hercule Poirot Award are successfull Flemish autors Pieter Aspe and Jef Geeraerts.
Jan Van der Cruysse was spokesman for Brussels Airport for a few decades.

Qantas had four aircraft damaged by a storm in Brisbane on 13 November 2016. Meanwhile, a QantasLink B717 also appeared to suffer damage to its fuselage, while a Jetstar A320 looked to have been hit by a water or liquid tank and other airport ground equipment.
