US Secretary of State John Kerry has landed in Kigali (for a Montreal Protocol meeting on cutting some greenhouse gases) with his usual 757. What is interesting on this picture is the little Belgian Air Force ERJ145 in the back...

Whoever the minister in charge, couldn't he have taken one of the many weekly SN flights to/from Kigali?

On a side note, this was a very successful meeting. If you are interested: http://www.bbc.com/news/science-environ ... ws_central

How many times has that little ERJ145 stop to refuel? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think you can fly in 1 time from Belgium to Kigali with an ERJ145.

ERJ-145LR - Range with 50 passengers at long range cruising speed 2870km (1550nm).

To Kigali they will have to make 2 or 3 stopover from Brussels

London City Airport evacuated in 'chemical' scare
About 500 people were forced to leave the airport in east London

A suspected chemical incident forced the evacuation of London City Airport, with people needing treatment for breathing difficulties. About 500 people were taken from the east London airport at 16:00 BST after some passengers felt unwell, London Fire Brigade (LFB) said. Ambulance staff treated 26 patients at the scene, taking two to hospital.

The airport was declared "safe" at about 19:00, with police finding what they think might be a CS gas spray. In a statement, the Metropolitan Police said they are not treating the case as "terrorist related".

The main airport operator CityJet diverted many incoming flights to Southend and cancelled many departing flights.

Another airline bites the dust: ECAir or Equatorial Congo Airlines. Remember: they have used Jetairfly planes! And if my memory serves me well, one of their planes is still at Brussels Airport.
