Italian ATC strike

Post by EBAW_flyer »

Italian Air Traffic controllers working for ENAV have advised airlines that they will be taking strike action across Italy on the 22nd May 2007 between 10 and 18 local time. All AZ flights arriving in Italy within this time span all cancelled and 3 RYR flights (Rome, Pisa and Venice) out of Charleroi are cancelled as well.

Alitalia really doesn't need this kind of trouble right now  .

Alitalia's nett loss for 2006 is an unbelievable 626 mio euro (against an already dramatic loss of 168 mio euro in 2005).

49,9 % of the AZ-shares are owned by the Italian government, and these shares are for sale. Urgent.
