Ryanair cancelling some routes from WEEZE/ NRN for Winter flight plan.

Hi Guys,

if you have managed to book some super cheap fares with Ryanair for November onwards from weeze, I would be checking your Email account for some updates on your flights.

I was informed that my outbound flight on Friday and return on monday, would suffer light changes. After checking the 1st flight would go on saturday and return on Saturday as well 30 minutes after arrival.
If you don't do anything about this your flight is Automatically moved.

I complained and instead of a REFUND, I demanded rebooking to Cologne Airport at the same time. this took me 10 min on their online CHAT window.

Just because they are cheap, doesn't mean they dont have to comply with EU Passenger Rules and Regs.
Never forget: Change of flight several weeks before your departure can be refunded, or rebooked at THEIR EXPENSE and should not cost you a single BUCK!

Lucky you...
10 minutes... Waited for 70 minutes for their chat !
After that no solution as they were only willing to change flights from- to thé same country ( no EIN to CRL )...
So asked to refund my returnflight and keep thé returning flight for my friend on the same booking...
I booked another flight and FR CANCELLED both thé returning flights !
After all this mess I booked myself again another return flight for my friend, waiting times on chat were still above 60 minutes !!! And only chat no email ...
FR Sucks... Cheap indeed but they don't or won't help their pax in a decent way anyway...

Such a disgrace that the EU won't stop these actions thé hard way...

Hi Cathay Belgium,

That is indeed a long wait for a chat. I had them several times in the early morning times and I never waited longer than 10 min, but I guess with all the Rebookings everything is possible.
If they only rebook from the same country is probably due to taxation issues, but I dont see the major issue on doing so. Near NRN or EIN you are located on what i like to call the Heart of Germany and Netherlands Regional Airports.
(Dortmund, Dusseldorf, Cologne, Munster Osnabruck, Rotterdam, Amsterdam.)

For your info, Ryanair also works on a Partnership with Low Cost carriers like Easyjet, Vueling, Norwegean and so on. Normally they should rebook it for you regardless of the place you had your original booking.

We could put all of this on Ryanair and they cheap policies, but we could start a hole new Tread on it called.
Airlines vs Worker unions , The poison is spreading and killing airlines, one by one.

but lets leave that for another day

Hope you get some beter luck with whoever you are flying next time! I definately always have second thoughts before I book my Ryanair flights.
