Aeroflot IL62 at EBBR
Goodmorning,
The BIAC-site mentions the arrival of an irragular flight at Brussels :
14/11 17:00 Moscow AFL9007 IL6
Does anybody have any idea about the reason for its visit ?

Is it possible that it is a commercial flight? I didn't know the il62 complies the latest noise regulations. Or will it be a diplomatic flight (as usual when we see this plane)? It will have Rossija State Transport titles for sure since Aerofolt itself doesn't operate these planes any more I think...
btw, sunset is at 04:56 pm, so let's hope it arrives a bit earlier than expected.
Since the plane will probably be parked at Abelag, I suppose it will be directed to 25R or not?

Goodafternoon,
There is no garanty that this plane will be directed to 25R. All depends a bit on departing traffic on 25R. It is not the first time that a big bizzzjet or governmental plane lands on 25L and heads all the way to the Abelag-apron.
Best chances, if there is still some light, will be the Abelag-apron.

Saw it also landing on 02, but I was quite far (on the sandhill by football field). Despite low light I tried to make pics; well, a litttle bit of patience is needed to see the result, as I don't have a digital camera but an old one with a film-process needed. I hope the result will be good. Wait and see ...

Goodevening,
Please find here my contribution about the IL62.

Plane was well placed but best view was blocked by a Challenger TC-TAN. Also the stairs were not present so full plane without obstructions was possible. Hopefully they use the same procedure in the future for every plane.
