Hi Nico,

It was a diversion from AMS. Serial RA-82046.

Here are the pictures, but too bad it was such dull weather ...

UR-ZYD parked on the main apron next to the Volge Dnepr AN-124 (RA-82046)
Image

Then here she is when taxiing to the loop at the end of RWY 26
Image

And here she's warming up her engines at the beginning of RWY 26
Image

2 divertions today ... 2 x An-124
UR-ZYD diverted from LUX
RA-82046 diverted from AMS (as mentioned earlier in this topic)

Hope you like the pics,

Greetz,

Very nice pictures you made there Andries.
Lucky Ostend spotters with 2 Ruslan's as a diversion.
Also a proof that the Ruslan is still used a lot in Europe.

One small remark. The VDA was a diversion from AMS on not from MST.

Best Regards,
Yvo

Hello

Nice pictures of those 2 nice AN124, is the UAE AN124 the ' UR-ZYD'?
That plane went to BRU a while ago.

Bye the way, 2 AN4R's at OST is a little unusual, isn't it.
Keep on going!

Best regards: Yannick

Even better : 2001

6 AN-124 at EBOS ! 3 parked on normal stands, then 2 others, each parked in an entrance of the main apron an the last one parked on the taxiway. If I am not mistaking it were 3 ADB's and 3 VDA's ...
