The weather has disappeared

Post by Avro »

I wanted to look after the weather for tomorrow, when I discovered that the world weather has disappeared from the main page  . Is it somewhere else or why have you removed it Bart :?:

Regards

Oops, I've found it. Sorry
I was always looking for the big picture, and I just discovered the small link on the left of the page.

Hope the world weather is wrong for tomorrow, cause I don't want to spot in the rain :?

It's true that sometimes the weather disappears from the Luchtzak website. The icons are there, but they indicate that Brussels is not available and a temperature of -18°C. Und suddenly the right weather appears again...

What have you done to Bill Gates? :)

Guys,

I currently have problems with the weather-block and de-activated for members and guests, you can still continue to use World Weather in the left of the frontpage.

greetings,

Bart

Hope you will be able to reactivate it soon (and with the correct indications). It was a nice feature, immediately available.

Glad to see that the weather block with the weather for Brussels is back in the left column. :-)

Not as nice-looking as sabine H, but acceptable

Thanks, Bart!

In fact I know the reason ==> because the weather block needs to have its weather in 'cache' it needs a little extra webspace. Since my webspace was totally full it couldn't create the weather! Now I upgraded to 40 mbs of webspace and all works fine!

Thanks you all for the patience!

Not only are we breaking records here in Belgium with the temperatures but also with the visibility :)
According to the current weather in Brussels ( on this site ) there's a visibility of 1850 km. Wow, we can see all the way until LEAL ( Alicante ). That's what I'd call CAVOK! 8O

MD-11, this was discussed earlier here: https://www.aviation24.be/modules.php?name ... opic&t=384

Unlimited gets a code 999 (by default, nautical miles), which is translated into 1850 km.

In meteo decode unlimited is 9999. This is in meters (10km). In the US meteo this is p6sm (plus 6 statute miles). A statute mile is about 1650mtrs, which again gives us the 9999m (10km) and means unlimited.
