Hello,

 today I have created something new for this website:

a chatbox! https://www.aviation24.be/modules.php?name=SPChat

I'm learning the chat-language right now.

ciao,

Hi all,

some new things I discovered:

- you can start your own chat-channel on this website, even a private chatbox is allowed with your own password.
- you will need to be registered to chat.
- if your interface is selected as 'Dutch' it will not work yet.
- log out with 'exit' iso closing the chatwindow.

That's all folks for now! Now let's enjoy the great weather!

I also think it's a good idea to set out a certain time at wich we all go to the chatbox.
I was thinking about 2000 ... (1900 GMT)
Would that work for most of the active users ???
All comments are welcome

Love the chatbox but see that when I exit it still shows the number of members as including me (on homepage). is this my computer or a little glitch?

Meerkat,

when you exit the chatbox you actually need to press 'exit' in stead of closing the window. If you don't do this you will stay for the next 30 minutes in the chatbox.

greetings,

Hello guy's,

Let's use the chatbox more! You can see how much people and who is online, so come on and chat a little bit, so we can learn to know each other better.

Let's use this opportunity

Hi all,

today I have read a message posted on another website that people on this website keep talking in Dutch in the chatbox, even if someone enters the chatbox that can't speak Dutch !!

Please be attentive that if a new member enters the chatbox to change languages to English.

greetings,

Bart

Bart,

Maybe you should post that in the welcome message of the chatbox!

Can we have a smilies menu for the chatbox? I tried to add a smiling face in there yesterday, but when the message showed up on screen I got a thing that looked as though it was being sick, certainly not the one I wanted, a menu would have prevented that happening!!

Hi Bart

Have tried again , now on another computer, and I still have the same response. When I click on "enter" the screen goes blank for a second and then reverts to the page you get when accessing chat from the homepage. If I try to click again I get an error message stating that I am already in chatbox and should wait and try again.

Perhaps my settings have been altered in some way as when you first installed chat I could use it ok.

Ray
