Re: Polish airports: news
The improvement of railway lines is needed af. However the CPK, I've already said it, no. Pure propaganda from the old government. The answer of this airport being needed is not "yes" everywhere and Av24, I'm sorry to say it loud again, but you're part of the old propaganda, but the system...

Re: TUI Aviation in 2023
One of the in Belgium registered B787-8 will be taken out of the Belgian register and officially registered in The Netherlands. The plane was already flying for some time in The Netherlands as the demand is high. This is a clear sign that long haul demand in Belgium is weakening. OO-LOE is leaving ...

Re: TUI Aviation in 2023
No this is TUI fly Belgium which is weakening. 1 Boeing 787 less, 767 gone, closure of CRL base (4 aircraft), closure of all Algerian flight, just keeping Alger and Oran, 5th 737max gone to TUI fly in Germany. Just 3 embraer instead of 4, etc etc I think that for Embraer, what they got is what was ...

Re: TUI Aviation in 2023
TuiFly should maybe think about collaborating with Air Belgium for some Caribean destinations Their only 787 has quite often problems and the news that several hundreds of passengers are blocked for days with poor or no information is simply unprofessional. Very bad publicity. In fact all three Air...

Re: LOT Polish Airlines / PLL LOT news thread
MOL will have a problem. Poland is building a strong hub airport for LOT and there will be little incentives for his type of airline. He likes only "lost places" where he is getting subsidies to put a "nowhere" on the map or speculates on local pride. A new airport might be need...

Re: LOT Polish Airlines / PLL LOT news thread
You can use the Goole translator for the below topic. But this only to show that the failed Polish PiS government is losing the new build Radom airport. This airport opened this year in Spring. LOT is transferring already the Rome flight back to Warsaw, others will follow. The moderators of this we...

Re: Brussels Airport (BRU) infrastructure: future
According HLN Dutch rail company Arriva wants to connect Dutch cities like Amsterdam and The Hague with Brussels and BRU. Hope to get permission to start in 2026. Same article mentions ongoing discussions with company Eurostar, but no results yet. As my friend TL Spotting says, this is very uncerta...

Re: Air Belgium in 2023
Very sad, but predicted like I did a few years ago. You can't survive from BRU without feeder flights. It's just burning money and not having good investors. I hope LH let SN the opportunity to use one of the remaining pax planes from KF for the time one of their own got stuck. If the LH group is n...

Not operated by KF but wetlease, to operate BRU-SFJ tomorrow. (google SFJ and try to pronounce it…) Kangerlussuaq, even easy to write. Seems that OO-ABF is still AOG. Still AOG. What is going on with OO-ABF ? A week ago, a source told me : "OOABF had a hydraulic failure and returned to Brussel...

Re: Brussels Airport (BRU) infrastructure: future
I live within walking distance of Brugge train station, where I can take a Flixbus to BRU for €8,99, or a Flibco to BRU for €9,99. With these alternatives, they can raise their Diabolo surcharge tenfold or more, they will never get a penny from me. Does the Flibco service still exist? Couldn’t find...

Re: Brussels Airport (BRU) infrastructure: future
Maybe BRU should try to convince Arriva or QBuzz to make a stop in the BRU train station? Since Thalys isn't a big fan to stop there... Since Arriva Netherlands and Qbuzz are Dutch companies, I don't think they will try and promote BRU rather than AMS. Dutch companies have a history of looking for ...
