I must admit, it's hard to keep track now, with a new operator every 6 months. It used to be one every 5 years

Re: VLM Airlines taken over by management, buys SSJ100 aircraft
Would the solution be in a new type of STOL aircraft? The CS100 can operate at MTOW (ISA) out of ANR, much better and quieter than the E190, which itself seems to be doing its job covering large part of Europe out of ANR. But I don't think that a 100+ seater is the solution (nor affordable). Only v...

Re: Abnormalities in BRU-ANR-CRL-LGG-OST in 2015
Yesterday's JAF TB1963 OO-JEB flight ANR -> PMI, became ANR -> BRU followed later that evening by BRU - PMI, causing also considerable delay for the subsequent PMI -> OST flight.

Re: ANR 30/08/2015 - Stork Mk1
Yes, the yellow 'inspection' vehicle is doing also the bird control. And yes, the driver is often handling the shotgun (with pyrotechnic cartridges). They were watching carefully, as the Jetairfly big bird had to depart later on, but they didn't go into action immediately. Maybe some regulations reg...

Re: 2015 Antwerp airport (ANR/EBAW) latest news
But BHX-ANR-GVA does match, and 8 months per year BHX has no direct GVA connection.
I hope it will work, but we'll have to wait & see.
(Totally different region, I know; but the 7-passenger SOU flight I just saw departing, isn't really helping being confident )

Re: Abnormalities in BRU-ANR-CRL-LGG-OST in 2015
Seems like Jetair's OO-JVA got stuck in Antwerp yesterday afternoon, missing the outbound Malaga (and subsequent AGP->OST) flight. Departed from ANR around 10:30LT this morning, for a positioning flight to OST, messing up the schedule of all OST & ANR sectors planned for "Jewel" today.

Let's trade a squadron or two of Greek Block52 F16's in exchange of some of their debts. Win win situation. They can't afford to maintain & fly them properly anyway.

Re: Testpilot testifies: F35 can't dogfight....
In conflicts with countries where air (medium and high altitude) supremacy is secured in just days, probably not much dogfighting going on. But they even put a gun (operational by 2019!!) in the F35 with air-to-air in mind, as the max. 180 rounds won't last long in strafing runs. And with the prolif...
