SN Brussels Airlines to Budapest

Luchtzak proudly announced yesterday ( https://www.aviation24.be/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=1288 ) that SN BA would fly to BUD next winter season. Since it is useless to post comments in the latest news section (nobody reads them!), I repeat my questions hereunder: 1) What plane ...

Re: Belgium granted already 5 freedom BRU-GVA.

Belgium granted already 5th freedom BRU-GVA. Sawasdee, Fons! Why is Belgium always so generous in granting fifth freedom rights? Now BRU-GVA to TG, earlier BRU-MAN and even BRU-JFK to SQ... Do we get so many 5th freedom rights from Asian countries? (P.S. Anyway we wouldn't be able to use them since...

It's a bit late to announce it, but if you can don't miss the programme on France 2 at 20.55 tonight. It will spend two hours explaining the current Mars phenomenon.

I think you're absolutely right about SOME Sobelair pilots, dolfke. Back to the topic, it seems that the skies are clearing up: three departures to Africa today on A333s, according to the BIAC website: 10:20 Nairobi via Kigali SN 465 11:00 Kinshasa via Douala SN 351 (the flight cancelled yesterday) ...

Yesterday I enjoyed looking at the sky again. Mars is becoming bigger by the day. And then, I also saw a few - how do you say in English? - "étoiles filantes": it is the season of the Perseids for a few days now!

Enjoy the sky and beautiful nature :)

Don't forget that Prestwick is as far from Glasgow as Charleroi from Brussels. And probably as cheap to operate from, following usual Ryanair policy.

I think this one will be due for a new layer of paint as soon as the original paintscheme reappears. Or maybe they would like to fly it in primer colors? Maybe they should do like AA, which do not paint their planes at all, except for the logo and the red-white-blue stripe in the fuselage. Nice way...

If SLR is earning so much money - which I doubt - why did I hear Aldo V on RTBF two days ago, saying tha the hoped for a loan from SN BA? Is that the reason why he is looking for co-operation?

today I spoke with someone important at SN BA and in fact they asked Sobelair to do a flight to Africa. The Sobelair-management agreed (jackpot !!) but the pilots refused!!! Can you believe this! In trouble but refusing any cooperation! :? :? I guess it were the same pilots who sent a fax to Aldo V...

Thanks for the update, Emmy! From BIAC website, I learned that there were only two departures to Africa, both by A333: 10:40 Nairobi via Entebbe SN 475 departed 11:03 11:35 Abidjan via Freetown SN 207 departed 11:55 The third one has completely disappared from the screens; it should have been (accor...

Is it maybe possible to buy a couple of seats on the general flight of SNBA to Toulouse, if you do that you will probably get an interesting price and you don't have to have 82 passengers for a charter. With only 21 amateurs, and the fact that the visit is not recommended on a Saturday (which means...

I remember this steward referred to the Avro RJ as a "Jumbolino", I thought that was a Crossair term Indeed, only Crossair used to call the Avros "Jumbolino" for their similarity with a mini-B747. But at that time Sabena was a Swissair "colony". Now, SN BA conquered it...
