Charleroi is still ILS Cat I.
They cancel many flights a year, it's the biggest disavantage of this airport.

But this airport has a so big potential that it's almost crazy to have so few flights for now.

I also think that the train is far the best idea for a country like belgium.
The network is already very good.
That's why I also think that a train connection in charleroi airport is necessary.

High speed or not doent matter for short distance.

That sound completely like the Flemish propaganda to me. Charleroi airport is not far away from Bruges; actually it's only slightly further than Lille or zaventem. saying ... Liège to london for 40 euro one way.

it's becoming clear that they will fly only to london ... as the official website of LGG says since many days. I wonder what they will say at the reception thursday. I was in the terminal of LGG yesterday and they made advertising only about london-lutton on the screens ... And the website talk also only about london : http://www.liegeairport.com So I guess it's right. The bad news is that it's still 1 flight a day with bad schedule : useless for business people...
