earthman, Lille (Rijsel) is not Liege (Luik) :) Yes, they could and should use liege airport much more when CRL is out of order. It's only 45 min by bus and liege has also a very good infrastructure. all you say is right also for liege airport, exept that there is already a new terminal, a long track and it's not in a rural area. So it's even better

But yeah, liege is 2hours away from brugges, so its a bit too far
