Re: Brussels Airport (BRU) infrastructure: future
The BRU bashers are again very active.
Being outdated...did you ever went via Lisbon, any Italian airport? There you will see very outdated airports. VIE is even very crowded and too small for the amount of pax.
You said VIE? crowded, perhaps but... never seen a queue it the custom or ...

Re: Brussels Airport (BRU) infrastructure: future
As previously said, I avoid BRU for Schengen entry. As EU citizen, it can also take a lot of time due to technical problems with the e-gates. MUC, VIE, ZRH can handle it in 5 min max.

And please, SN, do something about your horrible business class breakfast. 1 butter, one roll and some fruits. And for this paid a couple of 1.000 euros. It's a big shame. High prices but serving low cost. High time to change the concept.
I was happy with my Biz class breakfast last sunday ...

Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal
As a passenger point of view, this airline (SN) is nothing more than a plaything in LH's hands... There is no real long-haul network. Fortunately, other airlines serve Brussels, and CDG and AMS are within easy reach.
BRU is in the middle of LHR, AMS, FRA, CDG. The far more logical question is ...

Re: Brussels Airport (BRU) infrastructure: future

That's one of the reasons why I enter the EU via MUC or VIE when returning from Asia. I avoid this kind of recurring problem. With 5/6 flights /year coming from Cambodia via SIN or BKK, plenty of choices.

And to add also, it double your gate capacity. With the MARS concept now available at BRU, B pier, with changing the ramp around the new gates, new lines, structure, not all parked on the same line, etc they can accommodate more planes at the same time. That's the purpose of MARS.

SQ and TG have started the SIN and BKK routes, why couldn't that be profitable for SN ?

I totally agree with that. A220 will be necessary on a lot of destinations.
But..; the problem is still how SN is considered in STAR.
Coming back BKK-MUC yesterday A388 overbooked in any classes.
Try to book BRU-BKK on SN and Austrian Website.... two different prices
If SN give a price ..... (still ...
