The Embraer being much more recent I would suppose it may bit slightly safer but having said I doubt we can say the ATRs aren't anyway.

To come back to the subject, personally I hope they both win.

There is more than space in the market to have as many 787 as 350.

Unfortunately there are always accidents.

It is true the last ones have been particularly disastrous but I also believe that because of that the medias talk more about the minor incidents which would not get coverage in another moment.

Why not simply build the house inside the 747? That would be great

I think commercially it is more interesting to sell 250 787 than to sell 10 hypotethic "new Concorde"

Seeing the success of the 787, it would be suicidal not to build the 350.

I can't say for sure for SAA's 744s but I've seen PTV installed in the walls.
