the demo pilot you saw was John Vandebosch. Great guy! Met him at the airshow in Koksijde. Amazing display there too. Especially from my point of view (on top of an F16) :-) Got great pics and movies of that!

Don't quite get the whole traffic accident thing, don't understand what happened exactly...

actually, they can close Brussels. As far as I know, this judge has set forth an ultimatum, and will close the airport if the conditions are not met. And yes, he can do that. It's unbelievable that people would drive thousands of other people out of work, just to have peace and quiet in their cheap ...

hey stephen, I already booked a spot on your bus, but I'm a bit woried about something you said...if you don't get the necessary number of people, will the trip then be cancelled? and will there still be a pick-up in Koksijde?

is it just me or is the writer of this article extremely unsympathetic to Airbus and its A380?

Le Bourget displays

Hey,

does anyone have any idea what flying displays we can expect at Le Bourget this year. The site said that this information would be available by January, but it still isn't online...

Paper today (Het Laatste Nieuws, biggest Belgian newspaper) is saying that the first flight is delayed by as much as four weeks. Airbus says they'll make it before the end of April though. It's a good tactic though: say now it'll take another 4 weeks, shoot for 2 weeks.

I should be rather simple to find out...just check the ip address the message was sent from. I don't know if we've got the access, but luchtzak surely does... Besides, if this is true, it's a rather dumb hacker: luchtzak only needs to change the password (yet this would only buy him time, as the ...

the other options the Belgian government are supposed to be considering are:
-NH90
-uh60 blackhawk
-ec725 cougar
-EH101

rumours that NH90 would be it are circulating. this is supposed to be due to it's lower cost, which I think is not very wise. Buying the cheapest thing around, isn't always the ...

the presence of troops in Shannon is quite normal. During my year in Ireland a while ago, I saw them regularly. They just use Shannon as a relay point to and from the States: the last suitable airport before the Atlantic Ocean. I don't know about the executive jets, but I'm pretty sure there not ...

I doubt this would be the new bird for Koksijde. Over the last years, several candidates have flown at Koksijde airshow, but this one was never present I believe. The other candidates were much better I believe: bigger and stronger. Agreed, the Dutch do the same with those Tweeties, but the Sea ...
