Photo Equipment - Carry on board

I guess the number of photographers who never had problems with carry-on-board of their heavy, large and expensive photo equipment is -if even excisting- very small. For all those who ever had, this announcement that I just received from the ASMP (American Society of Media Photographers) ASMP announ...

Comet, I don't know what you mean with "the sound of luggage problems" You can have the same "sound of luggage problems" with SNBA as with Virgin Express because the luggage from booth, as well as about 50 others companies in Brussels is handled by BGS and not by the companies. :...

The fact that LESS than 1 % answer these polls says more than enough. I think it's high time that all the administrators put the...

MD-11 This is what the Americans call "The wall of Fire". On some airshows a lot of phyrothechnic's (fuel) are putted into the ground and with the overflight of the warbirds, bombers, or jets they ignite these just like it is the aircraft who does it. A few months ago, during the airshow i...

Lien,

For the SR-71 there would be too much bubbles in the champagne, for the champagne it would be a shame to use it that way, and I know a lot better ways to consume it.

Two very interesting books about the SR-71 are "The Untouchables" ISBN 0-929823-12-5 and "Sled Driver" ISBN 0-929823-28-7 Both are writen by Brian Shul former pilot of the "Sled", the SR-71 nickname, with very interesting stories and marvellous pictures. If you are luck...

Meerkat,

You're right they didn't use normal fuel.
The fuel they used costed more a litre than the most expensive whisky (This isn't a joke) and it burned probably more in a hour than I'll drink in my whole life

I did some research and found out that the decision to use registrations on civilian aircraft was taken during a convention held in France in 1919, and undersigned by the 27 countries who participated at the convention. But this doesn't explane yet why Belgium got the "O". So I'll continue...

Hi 777

I had the newspaper, (HLN) and the magazine (Dag Allemaal) but throw them away. :(

However, I'm sure that if you call the redaction of HLN or DA and ask for it, they will send a copy of the publication.

Without having the intention to defend Grossiels, I'm for 99,99 % sure that he didn't said and meant it that way. The problem is that a lot of journalists don't know what they are talking and writing about, and use the words of someone in the way they want them to use. I heard so many times the disc...
