I was there too on Saturday and Sunday and although the "double" barrier, I think it's one of the only places in Belgium where you can get that close to the arriving and landing a/c. Futhermore with a little "recce" about the best places, it wasn't a problem at all to find out a ...

Through the years the list of Royals, sport and other celebrities that I met is too numerous to mention. So I just want to mention some who made it in the aviation world. General Chuck Yeager, the first man to fly faster than the speed of sound, General Paul Tibbets, pilot of the B-29 who dropped th...

Frederic, Don't take this too personal, and after this -as far as I'm concerned- I consider this discussion as closed, but don't be too sure about your answers on my remarks. With over 20 years in the journalism business I know a lot about copyrights matters. Let's hope for Airlines.net that the day...

In addition to my post earlier today in this topic I would like to add some more facts concerning Airlines.net to think about. Don't misunderstand me, I never submited any pictures, and I don't have the intention to do, so there is surely no reason why I should be pro or contra Airlines.net. Airline...

To become a good photographer one of the first things you have to learn is accepting good and bad critiques, and that doesn't count only for photographers. I don't have any problems with the reasons of accepting or rejecting pictures on Airlines.net. The selection criteria may even be more severe to...

Chris, Don't use a "too big" lens. She will give more chance on blured pictures because you won't be able to use a fast shutter speeds. :!: :!: Best way for some good results is taking a lot of pictures with different settings. (ASA - Speed - Aperature) And as you are working digital -a pi...

Chris, Won't be easy. I shoud advise to set the highest ASA setting, (800 or 1600 ASA) (will give unfortunately some "noise" & "grain" on the pictures) setting a large aperature (f4.5 -F 5.6) and try to get a kind of support by putting your elbows on your body. (not on a part...

Bottie,

I don't remember right now the price that I paid , but full price BTW included you may count on 2.200 €. If you're lucky you can find a shop where you can get a 10 to 15 % discount, however even then it's still expensive.

Bottie,

Without any doubt I shoud go for the Canon EF100-400/4,5-5,6 L IS USM.

Surely not the cheapest one but, what a pleasure to work with :D :D
I'm working for more than 3 years with that lens and she never disappointed me.

Yes Bart, You have to find out with the provider or hosting services what's going on. Sometimes you have to wait so long before the pages are loaded that you would wait no longer and leave. Maybe it's because of the huge amount of visitors at the same time, and is Luchtzak becoming victime of his ow...
