what do I remember about the old hall?:
the birds flying all around.

Inside the building?

the nets around the walking bridge to prevent contact between illegals and "recipients".

So that's the construction, a walking bridge?

the worn out boreaux-red carpet in the corridor.
That one I ...

I'm not sure, but I heard onhere a while ago that only the old departure hall (where now continental etc still have their check-in) was a protected landmark. I never got a clear answer about the sattelite though, but I thought that it wasn't protected (yet).

I think its not only the part of the ...

Why OO- in Belgium?

Hello,

why do Belgian resgistrations start with OO? Normally, it's somehow the name of the country, like D for Germany and OE for austria.

I also noticed, that the Belgian army does have registrations starting with CB!?!

Regards,
Jens

In fact: What are these crooked "lines" on top of the doors for?

Are they there for aerodynamical reasons?

It's a pity. Is there perhaps a book you could recommend me with inside photos of the old terminal?

Thanks

Satellite (Pier C)

Hello,

I arrived in Brussels again after some years and I noticed some changes: The new A Pier replaced the old Pier C. Pier A is quite modern and full of light, but the walking distance is horrible, particulary with heavy hand luggage.

I saw that the satellite and the old Terminal building were ...
