If it is true that Discover will receive 9 extra A350's, I think this means Brussels Airlines will not get any new examples soon. and maybe will get the older A330's now used by LH, Swiss or maybe even Discover...
What a missed chance this would be to equip Brussels Airlines with recent state of the ...

It looks like there was a little emergency with HB-JDH A20N, causing all other 07L arrivals to hold before being redirected to RWY01.

Is there any timing for the reopening of The Loft in Pier A?
"At the end of the summer" sounds quite vague..
The temporary pop-up loft is ridiculously small and almost always overcrowded...

Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal
Anyway, I prefer the A220 over the E195 and the hard product of Air Baltic is, frankly speaking, amazing.
Yes, indeed, the A220 is a nice plane to fly in, quite acceptable legroom, large windows and 2-3 seating reduces the "risk" of having a middle seat. Also moving maps as entertainment ...

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2026
New Belgian icon will be revealed on the 12th of February according to flightlevel.be.
Looking forward to see it!
Which aircraft will be repainted?
I think only OO-SNJ is still wearing the "old" livery with the dotted b-tail?
Or will it be an A330? OO-SFD, SFF and SFG? Would be nice to see an ...

SFX is on its way to Hong Kong for C-check. It's the best horse in the fleet in terms of reliability and punctuality. Therefore, C-check should be shorter than Bravo's. Normally 3 to 4 weeks if there are no unpleasant surprises.
Strage to see it makes such a huge detour..

They often say they have too few l/h aircraft; yet they can afford to have 1 of their A333s remain in Astana for 3 days with the Red Devils. Good money I suppose...

Adding to this, I have heard that UA would maybe pause their expansion too in 2026. This mainly bcs of the delay of new aircraft. As from 2027 it would be full throttle.
Correct, expansion is on pause, especially across TATL as first delivery of an A321XLR has been delayed from late 2024 to ...

Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal
the trent 7000 would get a 330 kN thrust rating (tbc, still ungoing, could potentially be more) using tech used in the XWB-97. (the one used for the A35K)
I don't think it will aid the noise however. (which is a shame for SN)
Maybe off topic, and then my excuses for this, but why would an ...

Her last "flight" was on 31JAN, aborted and heading for H41.
Must have been a heck of a problem to remain grounded that long.
Kudos to SN Mx.

For those ones who are repeating that BRU is not investing in pax, well, yesterday the new lounge The View was officially opened.
It's really a beauty and with a 360degrees view, place for 400 pax, sleep cabins, showers and a total surface of 2.000 square meter.
This new lounge is located in B ...

As the majority of SN's A330's were operated by SQ and CX before, other aircraft might face the same problems I guess?oldblueeyes wrote: 19 Feb 2025, 08:40 Well, the first operators of these aircraft were SQ and CX and high humidity should be something regular at their home bases.

Dear all,
Recently I saw on the website of BRU many flights of SN to Kittilä, Finland. This is always under number 1XXX, so not part of the regular flight programme.
If they can offer so many, why not making it in winter time part of the flights you can just book?
Next Sunday there are even two ...

At least good news that the 40+ B737 Max planes on order by the LH Group seem to be going to Eurowings and not to SN...
But on the other hand, SN will probably not get a lot more new A320neo's than the ones that are scheduled now...
