Goedenamiddag,
Eén advies : ga (uiteraard) met mooi weer en een wind die krachtiger is dan 4 Beaufort. Bij minder wind is men op Schiphol geneigd om om de haverklap van baan te wisselen (ik spreek uit ervaring).


Ben gisteren nog eens naar AMS geweest. Plezant was anders!!! :twisted:

Vooral nu in de zomermaanden, wanneer Transavia en Martinair een hoop vreemde kisten ingehuurd hebben (Air Finland 752 + hybrid 320 van StarXL en hybrid 737's van Miami Air, Spicejet, BWIA,...)

De meeste bakken op AMS zijn daily, een paar uitzonderingen zijn o.a. :

You apperantly missed the big Air Canada boeing order. They ordered a bunch of B777 (200LR(F)/300ER) and B787's in favour of the Airbuses. This order will replace their current airbus long haul ...

SN Brussels Airlines (SN/Brussels) will add a fourth ex-Air Luxor (LK/Lisbon) A330-300 in 2006. It will launch a twice weekly seasonal ARJ-100 service from Brussels to Dubrovnik on May 1.

I have just seen on BBC News that terminal 2 at Heathrow is to be demolished as part of the revamp of London's main airport. Terminal 2 is used by European airlines other than British Airways and is situated next to the Queen's Building, known for its roof top viewing area.

According to the, for this moment, new timetable summer 2006 of CO no second daily flight to BRU. A lot of other European countries received two CO's on a day. So they received B 767-200 or B 767-400 and the B 757-200.
It's a pity that BRU is not mentioned for the moment in that timetable.

Replacing A340s for Cathay? Those A343s are still pretty new and those A346s are brand new... fuel price has dropped a little recently, are they that hungry to save that bit of fuel that they need to replace them?

I see Qantas needing new planes but Cathay - i just don't see it and Singapore too ...

there is no room for MAS in Oneworld next to CX. That's exactly the same problem when SQ joined Star. Eventually MAS will enter Skyteam, because of lack of a proper carrier in that region for Skyteam.
