Re: Terror attacks: explosions in the departure hall of Brussels Airport!

Apparantely Lufthansa is also cancelling flights over the weekend. I had a flight to Frankfurt Sunday morning, which was cancelled tonight.
Did they offer you an alternative?

I'm connecting to Malta in Frankfurt. They tried to look for flights out of Dusseldorf, Köln or Paris but had no more ...

Sas Longhaul Economy: anyone any experience?

Hi,

I've got a question,

This summer I'm flying from Brussels to Bangkok. We'll be connecting in Copenhagen onto the SAS Airbus 340-300.

I was wondering what to expect. I Know that they have gone completely low cost on their European flights, but have they also done this on their longhaul flights ...

Thanks for the answers

I think i'm gonna stick with the best view in the front of the plane and check in online, because with a 6.25 departure, being at the airport early enough to get an emergency exit isn't an option for me :P

Brussels-Riga on Air Baltic

Yesterday I got home from a small trip to Riga to visit some friends and see the city. Although these are rather short flights that don't feature a lot of service, I decided to write a short trip report, because both legs offered some nice surprises.

Date: 05/08/07
Flight: BT602 BRU-RIX
Gate: B28 ...

CSB, sorry to disagree. Article 18 from the Belgian Law on Labour Contracts (Wet betreffende de Arbeidsovereenkomsten) is limiting the damage an employee has towards his employer.

Maybe your right...I'm not trying to be the authority here, I tought they teached us that an employer is responsible ...

Then the employees who were on strike could be held responsible, but my labour law is a bit to far away to know how good their protection by the unions is.

Off course the union can never be held responsible...a part of our legal system that i don't like. On your first day in law school, you are ...

while we are at the legal side of it,

The employer is not responsible for the damage its employer causes in case of fraud, severe fault or repeated light faults (Bedrog, zware fout en gewoonlijk voorkomende lichte fout). (art 18 arbeidsovereenkomstenwet)

So if you can qualifie an unnanounced ...

not such a stupid rule. In most country's everyone has the right on his own image. This isn't that important, unless a photo gets published. The only thing Brussels Airport is doing here, is covering themselves. If a photo gets published unwanted, and an airline takes this to court (very ...

Don't really remember my first flight, cause it must have been around my first birthday (summer 1985) when we went on a holiday to calpe, so my first flight must have been Brussels-Alicante on a belgian charter (Sobelair or Air Belgium i think)
