I actually like the new colour scheme its neat and simple and not too boring like the shock horror that Tap Portugal are doing to its fleet.

Is it just me or does this particular aircraft seem to be very dirty on the top of the fuselage?

Lets just hope that JAA will carry out their work to maintain the good safety record European Airlines maintain. Lets hope that they attack these issues before its too late.

If this incident had involved two B787 aircraft, I would like to know how the repair work would be carried out and at what cost. Am still a little sceptical as to how a full carbon fiber fuselage will turn out to be, in these situations.

I totally agree with you Knight255 on that one. :D For a true aviation fan we all wish the best for all new models especially ones that promise to revolutionise the airline manufacturing.

Thanks X-prise on pointing that out. I was naturally refering to December 2006. But I can tell you that I would not mind poping Down Under this year.

I planning on flying over to Sydney in December. Am hoping that by this time ill be able to catch my first experience of the A380 with either Qantas or Singapore Airlines.

It has proven to become a reliable and safe airline, and with 1050 deliveries world wide the numbers speak for them selfs.

It just might be me but I preferd the previous style with the shark tail and pointy nose.
At least Boeing was fortunate enough to aplly a good looking colour scheme on it to make it more atractive. But as we all know that looks alone dont sell and am sure it wont matter for those who chose to order ...
