I would certainly go for British airways, friendly staff, good food and your own tv screen in economy class. If you fly business class, the service is very well and both lounges in London and in JFK are nice. It will be probably operated by a B747.

well i hope SN will lease those 747's and will expand their network in Africa and open a new route to China (already discussed in other topic's), and maybe some new codeshares and little expansion european network?

I heard on the news that they made a profit of 1 million euro's in 2004, less than expected (high fuel prises) but not bad at all.

I have seen this to, and also thougt they would fly in codeshare with Virgin, but on the site of SNBA is nothing mentioned about it. Athens is no longer a destination

Hi , i'm flying to NY in september and i saw this on the SNBA site : Youth fares

SN Brussels Airlines has special fares for young people up to and including the age of 24.
and offcourse they also have the youth pass but that's only for europe.
Does anyone knows more about this? It could be ...

Have you checked the fares with SNBA ? They could be cheaper. And you would be supporting the national carrier ! Eventually you would end up on an AA plane ...

they do a great job after the short haul award and the airline exellence award for europe from skytrax! this is the result from the very good service from SNBA!

That they still can sell those planes, i have flown twice with Alitalia in an MD83 an they are uncomfortable and old!
