Maybe, but you also need to look at it from a group perspective. The future long haul fleet of the LHG will primarily consist of the A359 and the B789. Both are in also in the running at SN. My money would be on the B789, but let's look at some facts.
The A359 is obviously a larger (and more ...

Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal
It appears some ex Frontier jets will come to the LHG. Frontier is not in the best of financial situations and will return some planes to lessor. They are taking delivery of P&W powered A32N + they already have P&W powered A32Q and CFM powered A32N. So it would make sense for them to return the CFM ...

Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal
Other things that may also have played a role: the 339 is cheaper and availability of delivery slots is better vis-a-vis the A350. Plus, performance wise the 339 and 789 are a very close match. But on the other hand I still expect the 789 for SN. We will see very seen.

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2026
Concerning OO-SNB, VRT writes that she will leave the fleet in 2027. So, for a year, we will have 2 Tintin 'icons'.

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2026
I wouldn't expect that. SBG is already painted in Hamburg, in what looks to be an updated livery. (see my exchange with Miqvell in the fleet renewal topic on 19 dec) So it probably doesn't make sense to repaint her as a Belgian icon .

Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal
OO-SBG was spotted fully painted in Hamburg today. It appears to me that she has no dots/'bollekes' between the wing and the aft doors. Maybe I am just looking into a photo too much.

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2025
from an article about the AC strike: "Currently, like many airlines, Air Canada pays flight attendants only for work done while the plane’s doors are closed."
Is this something SN and the other members of the Lufthansa group do too?
Might be a stupid question but HR is not my area of expertise ...

Re: Brussels Airlines in 2025
There are always 4 BT A220's flying for SN. The exact models rotate between the LHG and air Baltic itself, so EAF might not always be up to date. Today YL-CSM, YL-AAW, YL-ABA and YL-ABE are flying for SN, next week it could be 4 different ones.

YL-ABH is not on EAF but already performed SN2641 to MUC this morning, there are thus 4 BTI planes flying for SN today

Re: Brussels Airlines' fleet renewal
No they are equipped with P&W 1100 GTF, SN flies with CFM LEAP
furthermore, I interpreted this TRF to LH on as somewhat of a confirmation that OS would get some of the MAX order. But EAF placed these MAXes all with EWL. As far as I know this is not confirmed but if OS doesn't get the MAX to replace ...

Re: Brussels Airlines 2025
Forgot: it would also mean we won't see LH and LX planes anymore at BRU, no?
D
From Aerotelegraph: SN wil take MOST daily flights to and from FRA and MUC, so LH will still be in BRU. For LX the article is too vague.
