Mmm,

The full story on that AIN DC-8 might explain why it didn't/couldn't leave. Aircraft loaded at 2100z - take-off slot at 2110z, crew calls that ...

African international airways is on the list... no more of this at Ebos?

Oh well, if they aren't safe...

Hmm, African International Airways is not on that list, as far as I've seen. It does mention "Africa One" and "African Company Airlines", both registered in the Democratic Republic of Congo ...

Winter schedule is usually done by TUB's own aircraft (OO-TUI did last weeks flights out of OST), FUA is usually helping out during the busier summer schedule out of OST

@ Flycargo

I saw the Ducors myself a lot at MST.
And indeed sometimes it took them a whole day to load the aircraft. They transported all kinds of stuff with these planes and not only vegatables and fish. That was just a part of their cargo.
I saw them loading furniture and computer equipment ...

@ FlyCargo,

FOS wouldn't be the first to load cargo in a Tristar without a cargo door.

At MST we had Ducor World Airways flying with 2 Ex Caledonian Tristars. They were flying fish and other fresh good and everything was loaded box by box.

Best Regards,
Yvo

I know the Ducor story and I know it ...

It’s regrettable that we have to get our info from WILOO. They seem to have better info sources than we have! This makes me sad !

Hmm, wouldn't really say they have better info sources: their info about the 1011 was kinda correct, but the aircraft they were referring to were 3 1011's in pax ...

Hello all!

A 75F with full offload/onload versus a 74F that fuel stops in EBOS and loads a couple of ULDs every now and then? Hmm, how would they not complain, my friend?

And the 75F was ...

Re: Too slow

The plane was loaded with lawn tractors, computer gear and 53,000 kilograms of seafood when it tried to leave Halifax for a flight for Spain. A 747 has a payload capacity of about 60,000 kilograms.

This is my first post here, so I hope you won't shoot me for this 8O , but I think there has been ...
