Latest news would be that the aircraft was going too slow, about 55 km/h for safe take off.
How did the investigators figure that one out, fm the FDR, safety camera, or the last conversations between the tower and the crew?
I suppose that someone knew in the control tower what happened in those last ...

Recently became a member of this forum due to the horrible accident with the MK 747.
Although I'm not an aviator myself or have any flying experience (but working in the air cargo business) , I had the pleasure being a pax on board the MK flights, also on one occasion with the Capt who was flying ...

On the website of CBC (www.cbc.ca) you can find video coverage and a statement of Capt. John Power of MK Airlines who, amongst others things, mentions the nationalities of the crews involved.
You will also see a preliminary computer simulation of the accident.
On the website of MK two press releases ...

Does anyone have the names of the crew members?
Was informed that the Capt. was Mike Thornycroft, who was on the edge of retirement.
It will be a big loss for MK, both from a human as fm an equipment point of view.
