Brussels Airlines has changed from starter to young enterprise, but still prefers to play safe (thus no investement in a series of A320's like SN did...). Qatar airways has been considering EBBR since a long time. The problem untill now was lack of equipment ( No A330s available).

We receive an average of one A330/month but they are all being dispatched as soon as they come of line.

Problem with EBBR is as well that its one of the most expensive ...

The rumours are that Qatar Airways allready took over the EK slots at airbus for the A340-600.

They probably got a huge discount from airbus. They where giving away the A340s allready with cash handouts anyway...

I really do not undertsand Airbus. THe A340-600 only started flying a couple of years ...
