Then what would happen IF Emirates went down the pan? Both Sri Lankan and SNBA would go with them. That is the point I am putting across.

What would it take to make a BRU- based world class airline, I mean something like the KL, EK, CX, or SQ?
That company should also be making money, unlike the old Sabena which very rarely made profit.

Why would one buy A345 or A343 when they can buy A350?

I'm surprised that ET will be doing BRU-YUL and not BRU-YYZ since most of the 'expected' PAX --mainly expatriate Ethiopians, Eritreans & East Africans-- live in/around YYZ. Expatriate Africans who live in/around YUL are mainly from west Africa, not likely to be using the service.
