Does anybody know any good places to watch the arrivals fro Wings and Wheels on friday? I missed the whole registration deal to get acces to the airfield! :roll:

I've never been to that airport, so any help would be usefull. Perhaps also an indication on the direction of landing ...

A beautifull black Learjet came in today ( around 16:30). Beeing in the direct flypath, I wasn't able to see the livery or read the registration. Did anyone else get it?

Normally they pass over Ruiselede, where I live, but as I wasn't home the last days I can't confirm.

Anyone seen the anual excercises? I'd love to see the Ewacs and KC-10 pass over my house, but I guess the chances are slim...

You'll only see the arriving planes... The soundwall covers the sight and there is a fully closed fence around 25R... To bad really...

And you can't climb the wall no more, big fence and gate...

Last time I was there I found a sweet spot...

Follow the road towards the tower, starting from 25L. Turn right at the roundabout and go straith, until you reach a second roundabout. There you should go right, towards the center of Hummelgem ( its a sharp turn, almost going back where you came from ...

Very nice! I was planning on going there yo, but the West-Flemmish skies looked so grey and dull I decided not to... Now I'm kinda regretting it...
