And what about all our national carriers? SNBA, Thomas Cook, Tui, VLM, Virgin Express, DHL in al small version in 2008. What about their positions if the airport closed?

Well, I can only speak for VLM, but I don't think they consider it a big loss, I'm afraid. We only have our BRU-SOU and BRU-LCY ...

Well, I was thinking of something while I was doing the dishes (I know, dishes are very uncool, but a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do 8) ): why don't we organize a sleep-in at the airport like "They" did. That seems to work given the fact that BRU is threatened with closure. Just an idea ...

Yep, it was. With an escort of a chopper of the Belgian federal police. And right now there's a big fat Chinook (if my ears don't deceive me) patrolling the area.
