There might be more ANA news later this year

ANA will open Haneda as from 2009 for international flights. This combined with the arrival of the new 787's and the capacity problems on EUR and the interest for BE market (high yields, low competition, BRU as EU capital) might change the opinions of the JP management within the upcoming months ...

ANA and BRU

Is a long story!
ANA has operated before to BRU in coop with SN, changed to opertation by SN and that was stopped due to the bad situation SN was in, not because it wasn't profitable. BRU-NRT (and vs) is a profitable route due to high yields.
What will the future bring? Nobody knows, although ...

Some ANA news:

Next week a meeting takes place in BKK in which new slots will be decided for ANA. You never know, as within now and 1 year 2 extra daily flights between JP en EU will be installed. Notice also that ANA is making a lot of profit...

Some more info about yesterdays AND future ANA flights

I saw it, before hangar 40. Nice and very unusual bird. Shame I had no camera with me :-s

So the plane that landed yesterday in BRU came from NRT via HNL. This A321 is at the end of its leasing contract, like all other A321 in ANA`s fleet. This plane will stay for 2 months another 7 flights to ...

I was referring to the trademission last year to China, Japan etc. BIAC was trying to bring a Japanese carrier this year to BRU. But I think it won't be for this year.

Yes, you`re right on that. NH won`t come to BRU this year. By `07 NH will increase its ops to EUR with 1 daily extra flight ...

Direct line BRU - NRT

Some info:

It is for 90% sure now that no direct line between BRU and NRT will open up before 2008. NRT, because other destinations are not profitable. And not before 2008 because 1) ANA will send its 4th daily flight between JP en EU to another city and will have no extra planes available before ...

About JP and ANA

If ANA would start direct flights to BRU before 2008 is gonna be with B767. IF, because the new ordered planes were delayed due to strikes at Boeing. This delay could also delay a possible new flight to Europe.
2008 anyhow makes the opening of new destinations much easier for ANA as from that year ...

Given the fact that there isn't any reason to assume that they'll codeshare with NH (which is a Star Allaince partner) the only option would be JL
That's mean nothing. SNBA is code-sharing with LOT and TAP (who are both Star members) and their cooperation is going very well.
If they code-share SN ...

Doesn't look very good, even Tokyo , is not in the pipeline. If one Asian city should be served from BRU it must be Tokyo! It is a capital city for asia

TYO not in the pipeline? Let's say that "an airline" will be increasing its flights between JP and EUR in 2006. BRU is one of the options where ...

Hey all,

first time for me, though I've been reading your messages since some time.
I saw you've been speculating on the new destinations in Asia. Well what about a JP airline? Isn't it time to reconnect BRU with TYO, like in those days done by SN and NH?
