There are two different types of MARS gates, both allow the choice between 1 wide body or 2 narrow body aircraft, but only one type allows using both bridges on a wide body. Last Monday, Brussels Airport opened 4 new airbridges at Pier B. Those are called MARS, Multiple Aircraft Ramp System.
