For me it is the HELIO COURIER HT-295 Super Stol Aircraft.
I prefer the Commander 115 and the EADS Socatta Trinidad GT over the Cirrus 100 to 1.

Re: Have you ever flown in any rare or special aircraft?
Hi. I was wondering if any member has flown in any rare aircraft. For instance, if you flew in the last DC-10 ever built, that would be considered flying in a special aircraft; or if you flew in a home built aircraft, that would be considered flying in a rare aircraft.
Thanks,

Meybe someone can confirm this but is it not always the case with US based airlines that crews on atlantic routes are, well, older than average? I have seen this on EVERY Continental flight across the pond and back - I heard it was because the longer serving staff get first pick of the routes on ...

My very best flight experience was in my honeymoon!!. I got married the 19th of October 1996 and the 20 th of October I was flying with my wife in the cockpit of a 727-200 the route Mexico-Manzanillo. The runway is parallel to the ocean just a few feet apart so you can imagine how you see things in ...

Thunderstorms in Europe.
Ok, maybe this is quite a stupid question  but I want to ask all of you that live in Europe if your thunderstorms are similar to the ones that we have in the American continent. Let me explain, thunderstorms are very familiar in places that are very humid and have hot weather, also they are ...

Yor are right, it is a volcano and its name is "Orizaba". It is in the state of Veracruz , that is by the way, one of the nicest states in Mexico ( Mexico has 33). I dont know why you had such a cheap airfare, but we all know that good fares happen from time to time. I am flying to Dusseldorf in 15 ...

DC-9 of AeroMexico
Those DC9 are being replaced and all are soon to be out of here! Aeromexico is buying quite a bit of the 737-700 with winglets and I am already seeing them flying around here in Mexico. The DC-9 Aeromexico had were in fact terrible and some of them had already suffered some accidents, I never fly in ...

I dont know if someone has asked all of you the following question: are you Europeans "nationalistic" or "loyal" to the airline your have in your country?. Lets say that you are from France and you are flying to Italy, do you fly in Alitalia or in AF just because it is from your country?.I know that ...

Flying in Mexico.
After reading a lot of posts regarding service and kinds of aircraft that European aircarriers offer, I want to give you a view of Mexican airlines and what do we expect here from them.

CRJ-200 VS EMB- 145
I kind of fly a lot on this 2 airplanes and I want to ask all of you weather you find one better than the other. Maybe its just coincidence but I have had better flights on the CRJ but I find the windows way to low to have a good view to the outside. Also, I find MUCH MUCH more quiet in the cabin ...

Well, I kind of disagree on your comments toward how well the Airbus A340 handles turbulence. I have flown many times on the 777 and the A340 and the Boeing is hands down a better airplane handling turbulence. Somehow the wing of the 777 flexes much less than the 340 but I dont undersand why the 777 ...

CAT forecast over the North Atlantic
[Hello to all, I am from Mexico and I will be traveling to Frankfurt this July. I want to ask all of you aviation enthusiasts if there is a web-page were I can check the "clear air turbulence forecast" for the north atlantic routes. Even though I am a private pilot I do have a hard time when I am ...
