Qantas will discontinue all its flight from Paris CDG to SYD from Winter schedules on.

I believe Qantas flies from Paris to Perth 3x weekly. If I remember correctly, you need to change flights in Singapore if you want to continue to Sydney.

Some employee at CX had said that Air Hong Kong will launch a new logo to be put on the tail soon...but please note that is not confirmed by the airline itself.

Hello guys!! :D Welcome to Part I of the Qantas flight report (pictorial) series.

This time I am trying to do something a bit more interesting... Of course there's no way it becomes a big deal to fly Qantas; but what's special is I've made a few careful and specific choices on my flights so as to ...

I reckon the best are Qantas, Cathay Pacific and United. SQ is quite good too but I think its design is a bit too "old-fashioned" and not as easy to navigate. Otherwise these are my best 4!!

I am surprised not seeing CX,QF, JAL and EK ... I think they are all top notch and deserve a spot on the list!

And not entirely sure how TG gets into the 2nd place... it's just a HUGE shocker!! ALL my experience with them are a miss and i think the airline is pretty mediocre in the first place ...

Both VS and QF have announced their plans to launch direct servies between SYD-LHR (via HKG), for the first time!!

Here are the info:

Qantas: (3x weekly), starting 2 Nov 2004, on 744 "longreach"

QF 29: (Tue,Thur,Sat) 18.05(SYD) - 23.50 (HKG) - 01.20+1 - 07.15 (LHR)

QF 30: (Sun,Wed,Fri) 12.25 ...

Cathay is my choice.... But why isn't Emirates short-listed here?? I reckon their services are fabulous!!

Now chances are really high that SWISS will hook up with Lufthansa, but then at the moment none of the party has confirmed any discussion or exchange between the two.

But due to my very limited knowledge on the aviaition world in Europe :oops: ...I will be very grateful if somebody can kindly give ...

I'm flying to Hong Kong around the end of june with Gulf Air. Flying with BMI to London Heathrow and then Gulf Air to Hong Kong via Bahrain and a short stop in Bangkok... (all economy)
Anybody has experience with Gulf Air, also how is the airport in Bahrain?
I only flew Singapore Airlines ...

Don't get me wrong!! I generally enjoy flying on an Airbus and consider myself as their fans.

However, for whatever reasons, I always have the impression that SQ can't love their 777s anymore.... Personally I also find the A345 replacement rumour very credible.

But then back to discussion on the ...

A318: Personally, A330-200s definitely rate higher than the B767s. Indeed my outgoing flight was on a B767 itself. The A332 was just the next level of comfort!! Unfortunately I have no experience on a MD-11 yet. :oops:
